This is my first solo attempt at bathroom remodeling

This is a bathroom that I just remodeled.  I tiled the wall with subway tiles.  The project required a complete demolition of the old bath.

I tiled the wall then grouted.

  I applied a waterproof sealer between the seams and then covered them with seam tape and sealer.

I used GoBoard as my waterproof substrate for the tile.  I used a Schluter system box for the Niche.

I used vinyl wainscot so that it would not be affected by moisture.

I used the Go Board fastening washers and screws.

 

The old wainscot was made of wood.  The surface eventually blistered

Regular drywall was replaced it with moisture resistant Green board.

PVC trim and  and vinyl cost more but are superior products

The old wainscot was removed as was the drywall behind it.

There was a lot of blistering on this wainscot due to moisture penetration.

Hardscape Installation / Repair

Overlays and Modifications

-Done by building over a preexisting foundation with pavers, slabs, brick, block or veneer.

 

This overlay was done using bullnose pavers  on concrete steps.    

-Tie into existing hardscape structures

This wall and patio were an addition to the existing patio.

-Retaining Walls and Patios  I design and Install Retaining walls, Patios, Walkways, Edgers and  Steps using a variety of products.
